Business Development Lead

Role

Mekom Solutions is looking for a dynamic, proactive and entrepreneur-minded individual to join its management team as its Business Development Lead. The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO in achieving the following objectives:

  • Expand brand and products recognition.
  • Gain access to new markets.
  • Consolidate footprint in existing markets.
  • Develop business and partnership opportunities.

The Business Development Lead will work remotely in a way that accommodates ET and/or CEST timezones and will join occasional company or clients in-person meetings as well as attend digital health fairs, events and conferences.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Lead will relentlessly seek new opportunities to place the company products and software development services.
Primarily the Business Development Lead will help develop and run a response strategy to calls for tenders and proposals:

  • Streamline the scouting and response process.
  • Maintain reusable, continuously improved and up-to-date response materials.
  • Manage tenders from their early feasibility assessment to their potential submission.
  • Handle negotiations for awarded tenders until the handover to the projects team.
  • Ensure that tenders deliverables and their associated reporting milestones are on tracks.
  • Produce all necessary documentation and reports demanded by the tender.

The Business Development Lead will also

  • Closely coordinate with the technical and projects leads about projects feasibility, timelines and costs.
  • Drive the products roadmap in light of the market demands and evolutions.
  • Help develop and grow our customer excellence processes.
  • Entertain most clients meetings ahead of successful project rollouts and their handover to the projects team.
  • Handle escalation processes forwarded by the projects team.
  • Adjust the products and services narrative and public message to the ever-changing market landscape in collaboration with the web and social media team.
  • Attend conferences and fairs to promote Mekom products.

Education and Skills

The successful candidate will hold at least a bachelor level degree in business, technology or in public health, or alternatively will be able to demonstrate sufficient experience in digital health products and business development.

Compensation

Competitive.

The role will be compensated in accordance to the successful ability to bolster the company’s growth. The compensation formula and format will depend on the seniority of the candidate and are open to negotiation.
